What did I open today?

It's been a while since my last post, I've been busy with work lately and just found time to open then shoot this 2-car gift set the other day.

Tomica Limited Vintage - Nostalgic Emergency Gift Set Vol. 1

LV-30 Nissan Junior - Fire Engine

LV-47 Prince Skyway - Fire Department Ambulance

I pre-ordered this set last year, it was part of my Christmas gift for myself. I almost lost this set since it took more than 2 months to reach me. The postal notice from our local Post Office got misplaced and the people from the PO had a hard time looking for the package. Luckily, they still found it hidden beneath all the unclaimed packages.

Here are photos of the models. =)

TLV - Toyota FS45V

I tried to do a little research about this Toyota FS45V but I always hit a dead-end.

Anyway, this model was released by Tomytec under it's Tomica Limited Vintage line. It's not part of the regular TLV line but a special release to commemorate the 2nd Anniversary of the Tomica Shop in Nagoya on October 2008.

If you take a closer look of the box, you'll notice that there's no TLV # printed on the box. All of the special TLV released have no TLV #s.

Tomica Limited Vintage - Diorama

Here are more photos of the Honda TV-N Truck, Nissan Violet and the Hino Fire Engine in a street crossing diorama set (Tomy Town Playset) by Tomica. This setup will show how each TLV model is proportional to one another since all TLV models are in 1/64 scale.

Sorry if the photos are not well lit since this setup does not fit inside my photo-booth. Anyway, hope you enjoy these photos as I enjoyed taking them. =)

The Ultimate Fire Stopper

Got this TLV-N Hino Fire Engine with the help of Alex/Tomylord. When he handed this to me at our last DCPH Swap Meet, I was very surprised with it's huge box. This maybe is the largest TLV box I've ever seen.

I don't collect Tomica fire engines except for the Tomica Limited since I'm trying to complete the line. Got a few Tomica Limited Vintage fire engines as well but not all, I only try to collect 1 variant of each release.

I tried to research on specs and history of this Hino TC343 Fire Engine but there was none. So enough with this and let the photos talk! Enjoy! =)
