Conquering the Coffee Dunes

It's been a while since my last post here. I wanna greet all my die-cast car blog-mates and friends a Happy New Year!!! (better late than never...lol) I'm still on a break from this hobby. Have a few new Tomicas that arrived but I'm just lazy to shoot them.

Yesterday, I helped Marilyn shoot a few of her new Starbucks City Mugs. The mugs were surrounded by a mound of coffee beans so it gave me an idea....

in this shoot:
Global Icon Series City Mugs by Starbucks
1/64 Scale Off-road Humvee by Jada

This shoot felt good, I might shoot more tomorrow! =)

VW Karmann Ghia

Almost all diecast car collectors I have met have Volkswagens in their collections. It's either their main line, a side line or at least they have a few hidden in their display cabinets. I love the classic look of the Beetle and Samba Van but the Karmann Ghia is the most appealing model to me. It combines the classic lines of a Volkswagen and the sexiness of a Porsche.
